Cartmel Show Wednesday 4th August 2010.  Come and have a great day out; show opens at 8:30am and closes at 6:00pm. A Traditional Country Show set in the heart of beautiful South Lakeland. "The most comprehensive and picturesque show in the North" Cartmel Show is always a firm favourite with both visitors and locals. The Show, held on the first Wednesday in August, offers a profusion of family entertainment packed into the picturesque parkland setting at Cartmel Racecourse. A traditional Country Show with its roots firmly within the agricultural community, Carmel Show provides the opportunity to sample the delights of rural life at its best.
